78% of the children passed the phonics screening check in Year 1 (national average 80%)
98% of the children passed the phonics screening check by end of Year 2 (national average 91%)

KS2*
Reading 63% expected standard (national average 74%), 17% higher standard
Writing 73% expected standard (national average 72%), 17% higher standard
Maths 50% expected standard (national average 72%), 10% higher standard
*Please note- as the first Year 6 cohort for Parklands, 40% of this group of children joined the school during Year 5 or 6, with a further 20% joining lower in KS2. These results therefore represent not only a changing cohort of children for the school, but also a group of children who had a turbulent education in multiple settings but did their very best for the end of keystage tests.
KS2 Progress Measures
It is not possible to calculate KS1-KS2 progress measures for academic years 2023/24 and 2024/25. This is because there is no KS1 baseline available to calculate primary progress measures for these years due to Covid-19 disruption.
