Year 2 - Narwhals
Welcome to Narwhals Class
Our class teacher is Ellie. We also have Miriam, Crystal and Ash working with us at different times across the week.
We enjoy working with our children, families and the local community to give the children many exciting learning opportunities throughout their year in Year 2.
In Year 2, our curriculum is enriching, meaningful and active so that our children can become fully immersed in their learning. The children will learn through a series of well-planned and sequenced lessons to engage children in a broad range of learning opportunities. Throughout the year we plan various in-school enrichment opportunities and we will be planning a trip for the summer term.
Our termly topics for the year are as follows:

Term 4 : Roots, Shoots and Juicy Fruits
Term 5 : Adventurous Explorers
Term 6 : When I Grow Up
Our PE day is a Tuesday during Term 6.
Our library day is Wednesday where children have the opportunity to choose their own reading for pleasure book. Please ensure old books are returned.
This Term:
We are looking forward to our topic this term called ‘When I Grow Up’. Please take a look at our topic web which will give you more information, include the key vocabulary we will be using during our learning.
Drop off time is 8:40 am. Doors to classrooms will open at 8.40 am and pick up time is 3:15.
Ellie will be available outside the classroom if you have any quick queries or need to pass on important information.
